Yang's Meat Dumpling Shop Introduction
Founded forty years ago in 1970, Brother Yang and Sister Yang is the only traditional rice dumpling store in Tainan City that operates in a diversified manner. They not only maintain the classic flavors of their traditional rice dumplings but have also developed new flavors such as purple rice, multi-grain, and mung bean rice dumplings. Additionally, they offer mini versions of their special dumplings, which are cute in appearance and hearty in filling, priced at ten NT dollars each, often making them a highly sought-after item. Brother Yang and Sister Yang's rice dumplings focus on texture. The second-generation owner, Mr. Yang Youzhong, mentions that he marinates lean pork, which results in a better elasticity and avoids a tough texture. The fatty meat is stir-fried with mushrooms the day before, creating two distinct textures and an aromatic flavor.
