Kelin Taibao Introduction
"Ke Lin Food Store" is a unique memory for the people of Tainan, having created many nostalgic products. One of its signature items is the "Eight Treasure Meat Bun," which has been sold since thirty-five years ago and is the masterpiece of the first generation, Mr. Liu. The tradition began on New Year's Eve when the "head chef grandmother" would prepare dishes using Eight Treasure Meat Balls, which can be steamed, boiled, stir-fried, or deep-fried, making it a versatile ingredient. Mr. Liu improved the Eight Treasure Meat Balls to have a stronger flavor for better storage, as refrigerators were not commonly used at the time. Each bun costs 15 NTD, and only 60 buns are sold each day, available in limited quantity.
