Klin Tai Bao Introduction
"Ke Lin Food Shop" is a unique memory for the people of Tainan, having created many nostalgic products. Its signature item, the "Eight Treasure Meat Bun," has been sold since thirty-five years ago and is a masterpiece of Mr. Liu, the first generation. This dish originated from the tradition of "Grandma Toujia" making Eight Treasure Meatballs every Lunar New Year's Eve, which can be steamed, boiled, stir-fried, or deep-fried, making it a versatile ingredient. Mr. Liu improved the Eight Treasure Meatballs, making them more flavorful for storage, as refrigerators were not commonly used at that time. Each bun costs 15 TWD, and only 60 are sold per day, available in limited quantity.
