Baozi Fugu Jiali Meatballs Introduction
"Jiali Meatballs," originally known as "Baozi," were invented by Chen Jinfeng. Locals in Jiali refer to it as "Baozi Fu." After World War II, to distinguish it from steamed buns, it was renamed "Meatballs." Fresh pork mixed with dried bamboo shoots, mung bean starch, and dried shrimp forms the filling, wrapped in a fragrant and chewy outer skin, deep-fried and topped with garlic sauce and cilantro, making it delicious and renowned far and wide.
