Baozi Fok Jia Li Meatballs Introduction

"Jiali肉圓" was originally called "包仔" and was invented by Chen Jinfu. The locals in Jiali refer to it as "包仔福." After World War II, to distinguish it from baozi and mantou, it was renamed "肉圓." Fresh pork is combined with dried bamboo shoots, mung bean starch, and dried shrimp for the filling, wrapped in a fragrant and chewy outer layer, deep-fried, and topped with garlic paste and cilantro. It's delicious and has gained fame far and wide.
