The owner lived in Japan for over ten years and particularly enjoyed the relaxed times after work with friends at izakayas, where they would eat, drink, and chat. After returning to Taiwan, based on his experience in the restaurant industry in Japan, he established "Meijiya" with the hope of bringing the Japanese "no-menu" dining style to life. This approach focuses on the trust and preferences of the guests, pairing seasonal fresh vegetables to prepare dishes tailored to their tastes. Both the first and second floors feature bar counters designed to cater to the diverse dining styles of the guests, encouraging a casual and relaxed atmosphere for all who visit.
