Shih Fang Hsuan Peanut Candy, Fried Dough Twist Introduction
"Shi Fang Xuan" has built a reputation in Anding for over 40 years and has won an award for traditional pastries. It is also designated by the local district office for gifts during the New Year and festivals, particularly for "A Lu Bo Sweet Potato Candy." Anding District was once part of the local Siraya Plains Aboriginal group, Mijialuowan, under the sub-group "Zhijianong." The area was named during the Zheng period when it was cultivated, hoping for stability within, to facilitate expansion. "Su Cuo Li" was a battlefield during the Qing Dynasty where General Lan Tingzhen suppressed Zhu Yigui. Although only the remnants of mango trees remain, this famous battle in Taiwanese history still leaves a rich legendary hue to the area, and "Shi Fang Xuan" is located within this legendary village!
