Southern Taiwan Dining Restaurant Introduction
Here, you can taste authentic meals from the Maolin Indigenous Township, including unique dishes such as "Jinafu," "Banh Chong," "Stone Grilled Meat," "Banana Tree Bean Soup," and "Bamboo Shoot Tofu," all of which are creative recipes by the restaurant's owner, Sister Yumei. Additionally, the local specialty plant, sweet flag, can be woven into various sized bags and also plays a supporting role in the dishes. For instance, in the dish "Jinafu," sweet flag stems are used to bundle ingredients like millet, wild boar meat, and taro flour before steaming them. When the lid is lifted, the subtle aroma of sweet flag fills the air, akin to nature's phytoncides, allowing guests to indulge and enjoy. If you would like to enjoy indigenous cuisine, please make a reservation in advance.
