Fusion Cafe Introduction

The most human-friendly café, "Fusion Degree Coffee," is easily missed if you don't look closely as it is located on Zhongshan Road. This small, unassuming shop welcomes you with the warmth of the owner's greeting and the relaxed atmosphere among the patrons as soon as you step inside. The owner, affectionately known as "Erjie," Lin Peiyu, mentions that this is the feeling the café aims to create—an atmosphere resembling that of a family or friends hanging out together. Hence, the café's name comes from this concept, hoping that visiting customers can "fuse" into this environment and feel the warmth of human connection. In its early days as a franchise, the clientele was primarily small families. Now, after 16 years of running its own coffee shop, the customer demographics have not changed. "Many customers have accompanied us through this journey," Lin Peiyu’s eyes reveal her gratitude, "so the café still primarily serves regulars, with new customers only accounting for about 20-30%. However, once they visit, they often become regulars," she boasts proudly. Indeed, the coffee beans in the shop are carefully selected and roasted by owner Huang Weishun, while the desserts and light meals are personally overseen by Erjie, who has years of experience working in a hospital, to ensure that customers eat healthily. With such attention to detail, it’s no wonder they have managed to keep their customer base robust. Although they can customize based on customer needs, the café’s top recommendation remains the hand-brewed coffee series, particularly the exclusive drink—Drip Ice Fusion. Its creation is inspired by the movie "KANO," and Erjie specially named it in this regard. The design also embodies the concept—nine drip balls representing nine players, a round cup symbolizing the court, and the milk poured in represents the fusion of the nine drip balls, symbolizing the unity of the nine players' hearts. Without fancy decorations or exquisite setups, this simple and unpretentious shop offers more than just coffee, light meals, and desserts; it’s also about witnessing Erjie mingling with customers in conversation, exuding warmth. Next time you pass by, consider stopping by for a while; you might just become a part of the regulars! Recommended dishes: Hand-brewed coffee (Panama Mariposa), drip coffee gift set.
