What deserves careful appreciation is the atypical bookstore space crafted by Cai Zhixian, featuring a dialogue between new and old materials, a mix of rigid lines and gentle curves, the angle of the slanted staircase, the play of light and shadow from outside the windows, and the freely displayed books. The final focus is on the suspended ship machinery on the third floor, located at the peak of the triangular structure, where one can stand at the bow to watch the sunset, a magnificent sight.
