Hohocha Tea, located approximately 5 kilometers from Sun Moon Lake on Highway 21, is housed in a Japanese-style building constructed with deep wooden tones. It is set amidst lush greenery, where the enticing aroma of tea draws in passing travelers. The first floor features a "Tea Factory Tour," integrating the production line with a visitor pathway, making the production process transparent. Each machine is equipped with explanatory signs detailing the eight major tea-making processes, allowing visitors to better understand this ISO22000 certified tea factory recognized as a five-star tea factory by the Agricultural and Food Agency. The smell of hand-shaken black tea and aromatic black tea eggs fills the air, providing a tasty treat for visitors. As you proceed to the second floor, you’ll find a "Product Sales Area" focused on light snacks and souvenirs. Inside, there’s a transparent skylight offering a view of the tea-making process, while outside, visitors can enjoy a flavorful Italian ice cream while being surrounded by mountains, creating a romantic atmosphere. Additionally, there is an "exclusive red tea pastry pizza," with opportunities to enroll in DIY pizza-making classes for a hands-on experience of making pizza! The entire third floor is dedicated to a "Tea Tasting Experience Area," designed with solid wood tables and round glass lamps, embodying a Zen lifestyle. Here, in a warm-toned space, visitors can experience tea tasting, tea kneading, tea blending, tea sealing, and tea serving, further immersing themselves in Taiwanese tea culture.
