A-Siang TEAFARM, founded by Mr. Chen Ming-Ju, is based on high mountain tea from Taiwan. The original store is located at a corner of Taiping Old Street in Meishan Township, within the Alishan National Scenic Area, near the Taiping Cloud Ladder, standing in tranquility amidst gentle breezes and drifting clouds, with a history spanning over sixty years. The brand was originally named "Lai Lai Tea Garden," after a phrase from Confucius: "Is it not a joy to have friends come from afar?" The founder's father chose this name, expressing the hope that tea enthusiasts would often gather to enjoy tea together and share pleasant aromas. Years later, as the quality of tea and techniques improved, A-Siang TEAFARM also successively passed the national tea quality certification and the highest honors for tea judges, leading to the official renaming from "Lai Lai Tea Garden" to "A-Siang TEAFARM." The brand name "A-Siang" is a homophone with "Awesome," aiming to emphasize the brand's commitment to maintaining the best quality of Taiwanese high mountain tea. Since its establishment, A-Siang TEAFARM has consistently insisted on hand-picking high mountain tea and has been dedicated to integrity and sustainable management, hoping to allow friends from around the world to taste the fresh and sweet green essence of Taiwanese high mountain tea.
