Mark's Snack Shop Introduction
Established in 1960, located within the East Gate Market in Kinmen, it offers traditional local cuisine paired with Kinmen's baked flatbreads and crullers to satisfy your taste buds. In the early days, when Kinmen was garrisoned by a hundred thousand troops, this old store was frequently visited by soldiers. The exterior of the shop features a traditional wooden door joint (with a history of 50 years), which is a major characteristic and a common impression for customers. This is why the movie "Summer Concerto" was filmed here. Many veterans revisit Kinmen for tourism and come back to the store to find the delightful flavors from their memories.
