Mark's Snack Shop Introduction
Established in 1960, located within the East Gate Market of Kinmen, the restaurant offers traditional local cuisine, paired with Kinmen's scallion pancakes and youtiao, satisfying your taste buds. During the early days when Kinmen was garrisoned by a hundred thousand troops, this old shop was a frequent haunt for the soldiers. The exterior of the restaurant features traditional wooden doors that have been in use for 50 years, making it a notable characteristic and a collective memory for consumers. Therefore, the film "Summer's Overture" was also filmed here. Many veterans returning to Kinmen for sightseeing often come back to the restaurant in search of the delicious flavors from their memories.
