San Bao Vegetarian Restaurant Introduction
Sanbao Zhai Bakery is located on Mofan Street. The owner, Guo Wenli, has been making baked buns for over 20 years. This local delicacy, which has been passed down through three generations and constantly improved, is named "Sanbao Zhai" because he has three beloved daughters. His neighbor, the pottery artist Wang Mingzong, helped him choose the shop name "Sanbao Zhai". The buns are made entirely by hand, ensuring fresh and delicious quality. They emit a sweet aroma and have a flaky texture; even when cooled, they remain crisp. The main features include the use of high-quality ingredients, with the bun skin brushed with egg wash and baked slowly by hand. For the sweet flavor: It resembles a cross-section of a mille-feuille, truly flaky, and often results in crumbs falling off easily. It has a solid texture and a malt aroma, filled with cane sugar, making it very sweet and refreshing. For the savory flavor: It is made with pork leg meat, scallions, and a unique recipe, meeting health requirements by not adding monosodium glutamate. The moisture, saltiness, and texture of the meat filling are well-balanced, making it worth your tasting.
