San Bao Vegetarian Restaurant Introduction
San Bao Zhai Bakery is located on Mofan Street, owned by Guo Wenli, who has been making baked goods for over 20 years. This local delicacy, named "San Bao Zhai," has been continuously improved over three generations. The name is derived from Guo's three precious daughters, and it was given by his neighbor, the ceramic artist Wang Mingzong. The products are made entirely by hand, ensuring freshness and deliciousness, with a sweet aroma and a crispy texture when tasted. The main features include high-quality ingredients, with egg wash brushed on the pastry. Even when cooled, the baked goods remain crispy, and the entire production process is done manually, using slow baking. For sweet flavors: The cross-section resembles a mille-feuille, truly flaky, often resulting in crumbs falling off inadvertently. It has a solid texture with the aroma of malt, wrapped in sugarcane, making it very sweet and refreshing. For savory flavors: The filling comprises pork leg meat, green onions, and a special recipe, catering to health needs by avoiding flavor enhancers. The moisture, saltiness, and texture of the meat filling are worth tasting.
