Corner Steak House Introduction
Located on Lane 22, University Road, in a quiet alley of the National Cheng Kung University area. The Corner Restaurant features a passionate orange façade reminiscent of the bougainvillea of southern Taiwan, combined with an elegant European white exterior. The founding chef, Tseng Jung-Hsiung, has worked in Europe and, before the opening of the Regent Taipei, was at the prestigious Bankers Club, which has been a nurturing ground for many outstanding culinary professionals today. He later became the sous chef in the Italian restaurant when the Regent Taipei opened. In 1995, his dream came true when he opened the restaurant in Tainan. Today, with his professional dining experience and dedication to management, The Corner has become one of the favorite dining spots for middle and upscale individuals in southern Taiwan and is highly regarded by many business people for entertaining foreign guests.
