Chimei Cafe Introduction
Mr. Hsu Wen-long, the founder of Chimei Industrial, is passionate about art and leisure, and thus leads the Chimei Group in spreading the seeds of art. He established the Chimei Museum, which collects world-class art pieces and is open for free visits. To fulfill the intention of providing visitors with a comfortable and relaxing space, it led to the establishment of Chimei Café. Chimei Café was fully invested by Chimei Food, a related enterprise of the Chimei Group, and launched an artistic music café journey by combining cultural resources from the Chimei Cultural Foundation, allowing visiting friends to enjoy the aroma of coffee while being greeted by Western art. The first Chimei Café outlet, located at the museum, opened on January 1, 2000. Over the course of nine years, Chimei Café started from the museum, further served related enterprises, and expanded externally to TSMC's sixth factory, the headquarters of the Industrial Technology Research Institute, TONG PAO OPTOELECTRONICS, National Chiao Tung University, National Cheng Kung University Chimei Building, and the Chimei Happiness Life Experience Center (Dream Mall), thus establishing 14 outlets to date.
