The Matsu Folk Museum, renovated in 2002, is a five-story building with one basement level. Its architecture not only features distinct Min Dong characteristics but also showcases graceful decor such as old wine jars, small windows, and beautiful reclining figures, embodying the essence of Min Dong aesthetics. Inside, the museum houses many artifacts from the lives of Matsu's ancestors, with different themes on each floor covering historical origins, geography, daily life, language culture, and architectural customs, meticulously documenting every detail of Matsu. Upon entering the museum, the first floor screens a documentary about the military management period in Matsu, providing insight into the living conditions of the military and civilians at the time. There is also an exhibition area showcasing recent archaeological achievements in Matsu and highlighting the area's geographic location. The second floor features traditional Matsu architecture and industrial aspects, while the third floor is dedicated to various rituals related to religious beliefs, traditional opera, folk music, and handicrafts.
