The Matsu Folk Museum, renovated in 2002, is a building with one basement and four floors above ground. Not only does its exterior showcase distinct Fujian Eastern features, but it also includes decorations like ancient wine jars, small windows, and the "Beauty Leaning" ornament, elegantly presenting the essence of Fujian Eastern aesthetics. Inside, the museum houses many artifacts of the Matsu ancestors' daily life, with each floor dedicated to different themes. From the historical origins, topography, daily life, language culture, to folk architecture, the museum meticulously records every detail of Matsu. Upon entering, the first floor features a documentary about the military administration period in Matsu, providing insights into the lives of the military and civilians at that time, along with an exhibition area showcasing recent archaeological achievements and Matsu's geographical location. The second floor displays traditional Matsu architecture and industrial aspects, while the third floor focuses on religious beliefs, folk music, crafts, and related customs.
