Baxixia Scenic Area Introduction
Bajiaqiao Viewing Platform is located at the 32-kilometer mark of Provincial Highway 11, serving as a rare vantage point along the Coastal Highway. From the viewing platform, visitors can look south to see the Isuizai Bay, Guihou Cape, and the Xinshe Cliffs, which showcase a unique layered coastal landscape. The platform is equipped with several coin-operated telescopes for tourists to get a clearer view. On calm evenings during sunset, one can see fishing boats returning home. Looking south from the platform offers a clear view of the small hill on the southern side of Isuizai Bay, as well as the volcanic crater on its summit. The East Coast National Scenic Area Administration has established a rest area here, surrounded by shaded trees and elegant flower beds, featuring a spacious parking lot and clean restrooms. There is also a small shop with an indigenous style that displays the owner's artistic creations, toys made from driftwood, and various indigenous handicrafts. The shop offers hot and cold drinks, light meals, braised snacks, various beverages, and coffee. Rustic wooden tables and chairs are available for tourists to relax and enjoy their meals.
