Bajia Viewing Platform Introduction

Bajizi Viewing Platform is located at kilometer 32 on Provincial Highway 11, and it is a rare high point along the coastal highway. From the viewing platform, visitors can see the scenic Isokaze Bay, Turtle Head Cape, and the Xinshe Sea Cliff to the south, showcasing a series of unique coastal landscapes. The platform features several coin-operated telescopes for visitors to enjoy clearer views; during calm evenings at sunset, one can see fishing boats returning home. Looking south from the platform, you can clearly see the small hill on the southern side of Isokaze Bay, along with the volcanic crater at the top. The East Coast National Scenic Area Administration has set up a rest area here, surrounded by many shade trees and elegant flower beds, providing a spacious parking lot and clean restrooms. There is a small shop styled after indigenous culture, displaying the owner's artistic creations, toys made from driftwood, and various indigenous handicrafts. Beverages, light meals, stewed delicacies, various drinks, and coffee are available; rustic wooden tables and chairs allow visitors to rest and enjoy their meals.
