Jiharaai Introduction
Jilamibay Tribe is located in Fengnan Village, Fuli Township, at the southernmost tip of Hualien County. The residents are predominantly from the Amis tribe, and the traditional crop here was dry rice. During the Qing Dynasty and the Japanese colonial period, they were introduced to rice planting techniques, and the rice grown in this area is of excellent quality, having been used as tribute rice for the emperor during the Japanese colonial era. A short section of the Fudong Highway leading to Jiharaai is referred to as "Little Tianxiang" due to its canyon terrain resembling the landscapes along the Central Cross-Island Highway.
