In the 8th year of the Jiaqing Emperor's reign, a temple was established to worship the Xuantian Emperor, Wenheng Shengdi, the Water Immortal, King Liu, and the Prince, among other deities, to pray for peace in the community. It was rebuilt in the 63rd year of the Republic. The temple's turtle-asking activity is one of the most famous folk activities in Penghu, and visitors can come to see it during the Lantern Festival.
