Stargazing Park Introduction
The Stargazing Park is located at the east side of Shanshui Beach near Shanshui Fishing Port, on Guanyin Mountain, which is a famous snorkeling area right at the seaside at the foot of the mountain. The park was completed in 2008, and by climbing along the path, visitors can overlook the Shanshui Harbor. On the backside of the mountain, there are meadows and coastal trails; within the park, there are three pavilions where visitors can take a break along the path before continuing their journey. In a recessed area of the mountain, there is a star chart stone monument illustrating the four seasons, designed to shield the harbor and the fishing lights from summer night fishing boats, allowing for smoother stargazing. At the stargazing plaza, visitors can enjoy a sky full of stars. Shanshui Stargazing Park is situated at the highest point on the eastern side of Shanshui, offering a bird's-eye view of Shanshui Beach and Shanshui Fishing Port, with the vast blue sea in sight. On the other side, the expansive coastal meadows and sandy pathways between the harbor and Shanshui can be seen, with the wide meadows showcasing unique beauty in summer's green and winter's yellow. Here, visitors can watch the sunrise in the morning, the sunset in the evening, and stargaze at night. 【Recommended stay time】 1.5 hours
