Shanshui Wu's Old House Introduction
The Shanshui Beach stretches over 200 meters, presenting an endless view of blue and white that is refreshing to the soul. The golden sandy beach, nestled between lush green vines, shines under the bright sunlight, and the water is exceptionally clear. When you come to play in the water at this golden beach, you will find two noticeable low ancient houses near the embankment, among many modern buildings. These ancient houses are aligned horizontally, and their muted gray tones stand out in contrast; although they are not glamorous, they possess a unique charm and significance. These are the Shanshui Ancient Houses, which have nearly a century of history. It is said that they were once seen by the three brothers of the Shanshui village; originally, there were three ancient houses, but currently, one has been rebuilt into a metal structure and is occupied, while the other two remain vacant. The Shanshui Ancient Houses feature a lower half made of rubble and an upper half of lime cement mixed with coral stone, with cross-ties at the corners to enhance stability. Some decorative tiles remain, but sadly, without habitation and maintenance, they have suffered significant collapse. These ancient houses face the Shanshui Beach, and in the days before the embankment, the sea was right outside, making it a truly pleasant place. 【Recommended time to stay】 1 hour
