The mountainous beach stretches over 200 meters, offering an endless view of blue and white. The vast scenery is refreshing, with a golden sandy beach blending beautifully with the lush green vines. The golden sunlight reflects off the blue water, and the sea at this beach is exceptionally clear. When you come to play in the water at this golden beach, you will find, beside the embankment and among many modern buildings, two conspicuous low ancient houses. These houses are lined up horizontally, and their gray and plain tones stand out in contrast; although not luxurious, they are rich in character and significance. This is the Shanshui Old Houses, which have nearly a hundred years of history. It is said that they were seen by the three brothers of the Shanshui village residents; originally, there were three old houses, but one has been transformed into a steel sheet house where people live, while the other two are empty. The Shanshui Old Houses have stone walls at the lower half and a mixture of limestone and concrete on the upper half, with corner details that make the house appear sturdier. There are also some decorative tiles, though unfortunately, due to neglect and lack of maintenance, many parts have collapsed. These old houses face the Shanshui beach, and in the days before the embankment was built, the beach and ocean were right outside, making it a wonderfully pleasant place. 【Recommended stay duration】 1 hour.
