Shanshui Wu Family Ancestral House Introduction
Shanshui Beach stretches over 200 meters, offering an endless view of blue and white, with a vast horizon that brings tranquility. The golden sandy beach, bordered by lush green vines, sparkles under the golden sunlight that reflects off the azure water, making the sea exceptionally clear. When visiting this golden beach to play in the water, you will find two low, prominent ancient houses on the edge of the embankment, among modern buildings. These ancient houses are arranged horizontally and stand out with their gray, simple tones. Although the architecture is not luxurious, it possesses a unique charm and meaning. This is the Shanshui Ancient Houses, which date back nearly a century. It is said that they were built by three brothers from the Shanshui village. Originally, there were three ancient houses, but one has been remodeled into a metal shed, which is occupied, leaving the other two abandoned. The Shanshui Ancient Houses have lower halves built of irregular stones and upper halves of concrete mixed with old stones, with corners reinforced to make the house look sturdier; some decorative tiles remain, but unfortunately, many have collapsed due to lack of habitation and maintenance. These ancient houses face Shanshui Beach, and in the days before the embankment, the beach and ocean were just outside, creating a truly pleasant atmosphere. 【Suggested Duration】 1 hour.
