Shanshui Wu Family Ancient Residence Introduction
The mountainous beach stretches over 200 meters, offering an endless view of blue and white. The expansive scenery is refreshing, with golden sandy beaches that stretch along the mountains, large patches of green horse vine climbing among them, and golden sunlight reflecting off the blue water, making the sea exceptionally clear. When enjoying the water at this golden beach, there are two low, prominent ancient houses located among the modern buildings by the embankment. These ancient houses are arranged horizontally, their gray and simple tones stand out in contrast; although not luxurious, they exude a certain flavor and significance. These are the ancient houses of Shanshui, which have a history of nearly a century. It is said that they were once seen by three brothers from Shanshui Village, originally consisting of three ancient houses, but currently one has been transformed into a metal house, inhabited by some, while the other two are vacant. The ancient houses of Shanshui have a lower half built of irregular stones, an upper half made of rubble stone mixed with concrete, with the corners constructed in interlocking fashion, making the house appear more solid. Some decorative tiles remain, but unfortunately, due to lack of occupancy and maintenance, they have collapsed considerably. These ancient houses face the Shanshui beach; in the days before the embankment, the beach and ocean were right outside, creating a truly pleasant atmosphere. 【Suggested stay time】 1 hour.
