Getou Waterfall Introduction
This area is surrounded by mountains, and when the sun shines, the moisture accumulated in the forests evaporates into clouds and mist, resembling a heap of white waves rolling among the green mountains, creating a sea of clouds landscape. There are many spots to appreciate the sea of clouds here, with the Xiaogetou area on the Beiyi Highway being the most famous. Looking north from Xiaogetou towards Yuguailing and other mountains, the mountain peaks rise above the cloud layer. Whenever the weather slightly changes, the entire mountain range sinks into the sea of clouds, which is truly spectacular. Compared to other sea of clouds viewing spots in Taiwan, its lower altitude and higher frequency of occurrence are distinctive features.
