Tucheng Guancheng Temple Introduction
Located directly across from the Tucheng MRT Station, Guang Cheng Temple was established in 1969 (the 58th year of the Republic of China) under the leadership of Master Chuanbin, a disciple of the late Master Guangqin. In 1978 (the 67th year of the Republic of China), the temple expanded its facilities, including the Huazang Pagoda, Da Xiong Bao Dian (Main Hall), and the Changjing Pavilion, in accordance with the topography of the nearby Xiaoshanlun Hill. The current modern building of Guang Cheng Temple was constructed in 1994 (the 83rd year of the Republic of China). Due to the widening of Jincheng Road, approximately 1,000 ping of the original 1,400 ping temple land was expropriated, necessitating the reconstruction into a building while maintaining the traditional temple architectural style.
