Yoh River Book Introduction
Located by the banks of the Tamsui River, between the MRT station and the ferry terminal, it was established in late 2006. One of the owners is a poet and the other is a film critic, which gives the collection a special focus on poetry and film. Notably, there is a dedicated area for a private collection of rare books displayed but not sold. The bookstore primarily offers new books, categorized into literature, film, ecology, travel, and more. It features a café and regularly hosts film screenings and discussions, new book launches, poetry readings, independent musician concerts, and discussions on various social issues. It preserves a touch of literature and poetry amidst the daily commercialization and noise of the riverside.
