Tamsui Old Street Huwei Bakery Introduction
This shop, built on a century-old pastry-making technique, rolls out multi-layered flaky pastry to create the elegantly yellow-shaped pollen cake, a gem of Huwei Township and the only shop in Taiwan that uses pollen as a filling. It revitalizes the glory of the Huwei bakery from the 1960s, bringing back memories for grandparents. The shop not only reinterprets traditional flavors but also incorporates modern health concepts.
