Tamsui "Shin Sheng Fa Bakery" is a store that has been operating for fifty years in Banqiao, Pukien. This is the first branch of "Shin Sheng Fa Bakery" in its fifty-year history. The store was purchased for 40 million and renovated, aiming to be a purely handmade "Taiwanese Cultural Bakery," allowing tourists visiting Tamsui to enjoy the traditional flavors they remember. The first-generation founder, Du Fa, started as an apprentice at the age of thirteen and entered the pastry-making industry. Initially, he sold traditional offerings such as dough turtles and Chinese pastries. Due to the high-quality ingredients and great taste, he gradually gained some recognition in the local area. In addition to inheriting traditional flavors, he has continuously explored new products. The "Bean Paste Meat Flaky Pastry" was conceived by Du Fa about sixteen years ago and has become a signature product exclusive to "Shin Sheng Fa." Du Suzhij and his sister, following their studies in Japan, learned Japanese baking techniques, which allowed for the perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors in the bean paste and meat, along with a technique to keep the product fresh for six days without preservatives.
