Charcoal Kiln Trail Introduction
The ancient trail of Shaotantou features rustic remnants of steps and a serene bamboo grove. However, most of the trail lies within the boundaries of an Army Armored Corps training area, and one needs to cross the cut barbed wire to access the most intact section of the ancient trail. The mountain path is paved with flat stones, which were historically laid out for the convenience of porters traveling to the Hukou Terrace. On the left side of the trail, there is a retaining wall made of cobblestones, while the right side is adorned with lush bamboo forest. It also connects to the Tuniugou Ancient Trail.
