Wei Wei Jia Persimmon Cake Tourist Farm Introduction
Xinjhu Persimmon Cake has a history of over a hundred years, especially in Hankan, where the geographical environment is particularly dry, coupled with Hsinchu's unique strong and dry "Jioujiang Wind," making it the best natural conditions for producing persimmon cakes. We still adhere to the ancient methods of sun exposure, Jioujiang wind drying, and wood charcoal roasting to preserve the traditional sweet yet not greasy, fragrant, and chewy flavor. Sun-dried persimmons are also the most beautiful scenery of the autumn harvest. There are two persimmon trees planted on the hillside behind the farm, where visitors can freely tour, take photos, and learn. Weiwei Persimmon Cake Tourist Farm is known for teaching persimmon cake making and persimmon ecology education, fully presenting the production process of persimmon cakes, and even retaining over 200 persimmon trees unharvested for ecological educational activities. Every autumn, the mountains are filled with bright red persimmons, combined with the ecological environment, creating the scene of "blue sky, yellow leaves" along with "north wind, red persimmons," making it the best place for families to experience the persimmon orchard. Here, there are also activities for making persimmon dye and persimmon stuffed dolls, which are fun and enjoyable!
