We welcome your visit and feedback; "Jin Yong DIY Farm" will be a great place for you to enjoy fruit picking DIY on weekends. In addition to regular beefsteak tomatoes, if you want to see other exotic varieties from around the world, you must visit this farm in Guanxi. Jin Yong Tomato Garden is operated by Peng Jin Yong, a recipient of the National Top Ten Outstanding Farmers award. True to his name, he is a courageous and creative young man who became involved in tomato planting over ten years ago, driven by his interest in agriculture. Since tomato growth requires temperatures between 18-25 degrees Celsius, the farm uses a hydroponic greenhouse method. Here, the hydroponic system uses soilless cultivation, allowing for control over temperature, moisture, and effective prevention of disease, ensuring quality and successfully cultivating many varieties not previously seen in Taiwan. Upon entering for a visit, guests feel as though they have entered a magical school for tomatoes, mesmerized by the colorful array of different shapes and colors before them. Currently, the park is home to over 20 varieties of tomatoes from around the globe, including Japan, South Korea, the Netherlands, Italy, Israel, and India. Among these, the Japanese Momotaro has been cultivated for the longest time, and the Dutch Golden, known for its slimming properties, was a pioneer in cultivation here. Other popular varieties include the Dutch beefsteak tomato and the famous Japanese giant tomato, making the experience lively and enjoyable as many people pick fruit while exploring in amazement. In this diverse world of tomatoes, many varieties are unique to Taiwan, such as Dutch cream, Dutch lemon, Dutch sesame green, and Dutch kiwi, all part of the tomato family that can only be seen here, showcasing the magic and wonder of the tomato's diverse world. Here, in addition to fruit picking, there are also offerings of tomato juice, tomato popsicles, tomato ice cream, and a variety of delicious and nutritious tomato meals. Spend some time here with your family enjoying the joy of fruit picking and healthy food, and enjoy wonderful moments together.
