The farm features a Tomato Family Theme Farm, introducing over thirty varieties of tomatoes from around the world, with different shapes, colors, and nutritional values for DIY fruit picking, along with a vibrant bell pepper greenhouse, a quasi-organic strawberry garden, a flower exhibition and sales area, gourd painting, Hakka rice DIY, lei cha (herbal tea), and flower DIY activities, offering a rich and diverse experience of fruit picking in the countryside. It combines agricultural production, ecology, and lifestyle. Admission to the park is free, and complimentary guided tours are provided. Jin Yong Tomato Garden is operated by Peng Jin Yong, a recipient of the National Top Ten Outstanding Farmers Shennong Award. True to his name, he is a courageous and creative young man who ventured into tomato cultivation over a decade ago due to his passion for agriculture. Tomatoes thrive in a temperature range of 18 to 25 degrees Celsius, leading to the adoption of greenhouse hydroponic planting methods at the farm. This hydroponic system utilizes soilless cultivation with controlled temperature and moisture, effectively preventing the growth of pathogens, which not only ensures quality but also successfully cultivates many varieties never seen before in Taiwan. Upon entering, visitors feel as if they've stepped into a magical school of tomatoes, enchanted by the array of unique shapes and colors. Currently, the farm boasts over 20 varieties of tomatoes sourced from around the globe, including Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Italy, Israel, and India. Among these, the Japanese Momotaro has been cultivated the longest, while the Dutch Golden offers weight-loss benefits, making this farm a pioneer. Additionally, the foreign-favorite Dutch beefsteak tomato and the renowned Japanese "bubble" tomato are among the numerous varieties that intrigue many visitors, who marvel while picking fruit. In this diverse tomato realm, several varieties are unique to Taiwan, such as Dutch Cream, Dutch Lemon, Dutch Sesame Green, and Dutch Kiwi, making them some of the exclusive members of the tomato family found only here, showcasing the intriguing and marvelous world of tomatoes.
