Luowu Academy Introduction
Yuzhang Hall Luawu Academy is located within a radius of about 500 to 600 meters formed by the Niulan River and Fengshan Creek. This beautiful natural settlement scene was captured by Chi Po-lin in "Beyond Beauty: Taiwan from Above." With the hope of preserving the old house and passing down Hakka memories through bamboo weaving, making food packages, and waterwheel irrigation, Luo Shilong quit his job and returned to his ancestral home to join the effort to preserve the old houses in Guanxi. Experiencing rural life in a traditional Hakka house with a four-square layout is stunning upon first sight. Once the private school and study of the Luo family, the walls are adorned with beautiful Western-style carvings, giving this ordinary residence temple-level exquisite wall decorations. Luawu Academy now opens part of its space for accommodation, and the vintage guest rooms and kitchen serve as the best venue to experience Hakka culture. The spacious Sanheyuan courtyard can also transform into a camping site where children can run and play freely. Every year in July and November, visitors can enjoy the golden rice fields in the courtyard and play in the paddy maze. Info.
