Tianxing Kiln Introduction

Tianxing Kiln is located next to a beautiful green tunnel and was built in 1956. It is a uniquely styled old kiln that not only welcomes the public for visits but also offers pottery classes, inviting you to enjoy the joy of clay crafting. Established in 1956, one notable historical artifact is a wall that features many handprints left by people after the 921 Earthquake.

Transportation Methods:By car: Driving south: National Highway No. 3 → Mingjian/Jiji Interchange → Provincial Highway No. 3 → Turn left onto Jiji Green Tunnel (County Road No. 152). Driving north: National Highway No. 3 → Zhushan/Lugu Interchange → Provincial Highway No. 3 → Turn right onto Jiji Green Tunnel (County Road No. 152). Bus: From the bus stop by Taichung Railway Station (Gan Cheng), take the Zongda Bus towards Jiji/Shuili Line to Longquan Station, and inform the driver to drop off at the entrance of Tianxing Kiln. Train: Take the train to the Jiji Branch Line and get off at Longquan Station, then walk forward for about 8-10 minutes to reach your destination.
