Rainbow Bridge Introduction
The Rainbow Bridge is 167 meters long, connecting the Neihu District and the Songshan District, spanning the Keelung River. Its unique design is supported by four main steel cables in the center of the bridge. The structure features an S-shaped curved bridge body with a bright red steel arch beam, complemented by wooden railings and pink and light blue tiles, making it an innovative landmark public facility. The Rainbow Bridge is currently open only to pedestrians and bicycles, not allowing motor vehicles. It is common to see pedestrians leisurely walking, and it serves as a shortcut between Neihu, Raohe Street Night Market, and Songshan Railway Station, significantly reducing travel time for residents between the Songshan and Neihu Districts. Whether during the day or at night, the Rainbow Bridge offers different kinds of beauty. Especially after nightfall, the lights on the Rainbow Bridge project stunning reflections, adding charm to Taipei's night scenery and becoming a favorite subject for photographers capturing Taipei's night views. Additionally, the Rainbow Bridge features a blue highway terminal dock, attracting more river tourism and becoming another new landmark for Taipei City.
