Rainbow Bridge Introduction
Rainbow Bridge is 167 meters long and connects the Neihu District and the Songshan District, spanning the Keelung River. Its unique design is supported by four main steel cable suspensions at the center of the bridge, featuring an S-shaped curved bridge body with bright red steel rib arch beams. The auxiliary facilities include wooden railings and pink and light blue floor tiles, making it an innovative landmark public facility. The Rainbow Bridge is currently open only for pedestrians and bicycles, and is not accessible to motor vehicles. It is often seen as a leisurely walking path for pedestrians, serving as a shortcut between Neihu, Raohe Street Night Market, and Songshan Railway Station, significantly reducing the travel time for residents of the Songshan and Neihu areas. Whether during the day or night, Rainbow Bridge presents different beauties. Especially after dark, the lights on the Rainbow Bridge project shadows, enhancing the beauty of Taipei's night scenery and becoming a great subject for photography enthusiasts capturing Taipei's nighttime views. Additionally, a blue highway terminal dock is set up at the Rainbow Bridge, attracting more river tourism and becoming another new sightseeing landmark in Taipei City.
