Rainbow Bridge Introduction

The Rainbow Bridge is 167 meters long and connects the Neihu District and Songshan District, spanning the Keelung River. Its unique design is supported by four main steel cables in the center of the bridge, featuring an S-shaped curve and a bright red steel rib arch structure. The accompanying facilities include wooden railings and pink and light blue tiles, making it an innovative landmark public facility. Currently, the Rainbow Bridge is open only to pedestrians and bicycles, and motor vehicles are not permitted. It is often frequented by leisurely walkers and serves as a shortcut between Neihu, Raohe Street Night Market, and Songshan Railway Station, significantly reducing travel time for residents between Songshan and Neihu Districts. Whether during the day or night, the Rainbow Bridge showcases different forms of beauty. Particularly after dark, the bridge's lighting casts shadows, enhancing the night view of Taipei and becoming a popular subject for photographers capturing Taipei's night scenery. Additionally, the Rainbow Bridge features a blue ferry terminal, attracting more river sightseeing tourists and establishing itself as a new tourist landmark in Taipei City.
