Raohe Street Night Market Introduction
Raohe Street Night Market is the earliest tourist night market in Taipei City. It is not very large, with stalls concentrated closely together, making it easy for regular customers to quickly find their desired food stalls. There are two entrances to Raohe Street Night Market, both adorned with dazzling archways and totems of owls, which symbolize the night market. One entrance is located at the intersection of Tayou Street and Raohe Street, featuring a statue of an owl; the other is at the intersection of Section 4, Bade Road and Raohe Street, next to Songshan Ciyou Temple. The night market offers many must-try delicacies, such as the renowned oyster vermicelli which has received Michelin recommendations. The braised large intestine is crispy and flavorful; the fragrant herbal stewed pork ribs, made with herbal secret recipes, have no fishy smell and are considered a winter delicacy for relieving muscles and nourishing the body. Dongshan Duck Head, which sells various braised dishes, has a chewy texture and tastes even better when chilled. There are countless other tasty snacks, including fresh crab legs and crab meat, and delicious old-fashioned tofu pudding.
