Rose Tomato Garden Introduction
Xu Qing-Shui, a local farmer, has bred a remarkable variety of sweet fruits known as rose tomatoes, named for their rose-red color. The tomatoes are not only sweet but also contain a rich moisture from the saline soil, enhancing their unique texture. The successful cultivation has attracted a variety of food enthusiasts to the salty tomatoes, bringing new life to local agriculture. The rose tomato garden is located in a small village in the "Feng-Tou Shui-Wei" area of southwestern Yunlin County. Despite the severe salinization of the soil, it produces the extraordinarily sweet rose tomatoes. Perhaps it is in such a harsh environment that they must grow more resiliently to survive, resulting in these wonderfully sweet fruits!
