Rose Tomato Garden Introduction
Xu Qingshui, a local farmer, has cultivated a remarkable variety of sweet fruits known as rose tomatoes, which are named for their rose-red color. The fruit's sweetness, combined with the rich moisture from saline soil, enhances the unique taste of rose tomatoes. The successful cultivation has attracted food enthusiasts to these saline tomatoes, bringing new life to local agriculture. The rose tomato garden is located in a small village at the southwest coastal area of Yunlin County, called "Fengtou Shuiwei." Despite the severe salinization of the soil, this challenging environment has produced the incredibly sweet "rose tomatoes." Perhaps it is the necessity to grow more resilient in harsh conditions that allows such sweet fruits to flourish!
