Huoyan Mountain Trail Introduction
The Dawan Mountain Range, Taiji Ridge, Wucheng Mountain Range, Wenbi Mountain Range, Huoyan Mountain Range, Longquan River System, Nantianmu Mountain Range, Lunzi Mountain Range, and the area around the Qingshanling intersection at the foot of Qingshan Ridge offer a breathtaking view of the white tung flower forest in the Dajian Mountain area. The first platform leading to Dajian Mountain, along with the trail descending to the Qingshan Land God Temple, showcases a magnificent bloom of tung flowers. Huoyan Mountain, also known as Qingyuan Mountain, stands at an elevation of 373 meters on the western ridge of the Tian Shang Mountain Range. It is named "Fire Mountain" due to the presence of oil and gas, which can be ignited on the ground. The trail is paved with stone slabs, lined with lush forests abundant in tung and acacia trees. From April to May, the falling tung flowers create a scene resembling white snow, followed by a golden rain of acacia flowers, covering the ground and branches in a stunning display of yellow.
