Fire Mountain Trail Introduction
The Dawan Mountain Range, Taiji Ridge, Wucheng Mountain Range, Wenbi Mountain Range, Huoyan Mountain Range, Longquan Creek Range, Nantianmu Mountain Range, Lunzi Mountain Range, and the area around the intersection at the foot of Qinglong Ridge offer a stunning view of the snow-white tung flower forest in the Dajian Mountain area. The first platform leading to Dajian Mountain, along with the trail from the lower right of the platform to the Qinglong Tudi Gong Temple, is abundant with tung flowers. Huoyan Mountain, also known as Qinyuan Mountain, stands at an elevation of 373 meters, located on the western side of the Tianxiang Mountain Range. It is named "Fire Mountain" as it contains oil and gas that can ignite on the surface. The trail is paved with stone slabs, surrounded by lush forests filled with tung trees and acacia trees. From April to May, the tung flowers create a flurry of white petals, followed by the golden rain of the acacia trees, blanketing the ground and branches in a beautiful golden hue.
