Hujingtou Battle Museum Introduction

Hujingtou is located northwest of Lieyu, just over 5,000 meters away from Xiamen. During wartime, it served as a base for psychological warfare alongside Mazu, which is situated at the northeast corner of Kinmen, Guningtou at the northwest corner, and Dadan Island. In 1988, the Hujingtou Military History Museum was completed, resembling a fortress with ancient-style battlements, red doors, and golden studs. The plaza showcases heavy artillery, 57mm anti-aircraft guns, and machine guns, highlighting a strong wartime atmosphere. The museum's exhibits include an information service station, the military achievements of the Lieyu troop, the heroic images of soldiers, stories of their lives stationed in Kinmen, and a listening area to hear their voices, along with an observation experience area. It preserves letters from commanders during wartime, visiting photographs, details of various equipment used during artillery battles, as well as practical displays of artillery and different multimedia guided tours. Guided tours are available at 9:50, 10:40, 14:00, and 14:50. ◾️ Video Tour Title: The Heroic Image of Soldiers ◾️ Video Duration: A total of 7 segments, lasting 35 minutes in total, with free seating to enjoy.
