Qifeng Wetland Introduction
Qifeng Wetland is located southeast of Dapeng Bay, adjacent to the Qifeng community, covering an area of approximately 9.5 hectares. The northern side of the park has an inlet that receives water from the Linbian drainage's Left Carbon Wetland, which then flows into Dapeng Bay. Qifeng Wetland is designed as an ecological detention pond, incorporating an artificial wetland treatment system. During the rainy season, it can function as a flood detention area, while during the dry season, it processes domestic sewage and aquaculture wastewater from the Qifeng community. The wetland is home to various bird species, including Great Egret, Intermediate Egret, Cattle Egret, Pacific Golden Plover, Curlew Sandpiper, Black-winged Stilt, and Little Egret.
