Qifeng Wetlands Introduction
Qifeng Wetland is located southeast of Dapeng Bay, nearby the Qifeng community, covering an area of approximately 9.5 hectares. The northern side of the park's inlet receives water from the outflow of the Linbian Drain left carbon wetland, which then flows into the Dapeng Bay area. Qifeng Wetland is planned as an ecological flood detention pond, integrated with an artificial wetland treatment system. During the rainy season, it can serve its flood detention function, while in the non-rainy season, it can treat household sewage and aquaculture wastewater discharged from the Qifeng community. The wetland is home to bird species such as Great Egret, Intermediate Egret, Cattle Egret, Black-bellied Plover, Curlew Sandpiper, Black-winged Stilt, and Little Egret.
