Qifeng Wetland Introduction
Qifeng Wetland is located southeast of Dapeng Bay, adjacent to the Qifeng Community, covering an area of approximately 9.5 hectares. The northern side of the park has an inlet that receives outflow from the Linbian Dapai Left Carbon Wetland, which then converges and drains into the Dapeng Bay area. Qifeng Wetland has been planned as an ecological flood detention pond, combined with a constructed wetland treatment system, which can serve flood retention functions during rainy seasons and process household wastewater and aquaculture waste from the Qifeng Community during non-rainy seasons. The wetland is home to birds including the Great Egret, Intermediate Egret, Yellow-crowned Night Heron, Kentish Plover, Curlew Sandpiper, Black-winged Stilt, and Little Egret.
