Qifeng Wetland Introduction
Qifeng Wetland is located southeast of Dapeng Bay, adjacent to the Qifeng community, covering an area of approximately 9.5 hectares. The inlet on the northern side of the park receives the outflow from the Linyuan Big Drain's left wetland and flows into Dapeng Bay. Qifeng Wetland is designed as an ecological flood detention basin, combined with an artificial wetland treatment system. During the rainy season, it serves to mitigate flooding, while in the non-rainy season, it processes household wastewater and aquaculture waste from the Qifeng community. The wetland is home to bird species such as the Great Egret, Intermediate Egret, Yellow-crowned Night Heron, Kentish Plover, Curlew Sandpiper, Black-winged Stilt, and Little Egret.
