Right Bank Wetland Introduction
The Right Bank Wetland is located at the southern end of Dapeng Bay, on the eastern side of Linbian Drain, covering an area of approximately 8 hectares. It is designed as an artificial wetland system divided into two areas, dealing with wastewater from drainage ditches such as the Datan New Subline, Datan New Highlands, and Nanpu Pond Datan New Division. On sunny days, it conducts water quality purification, while during heavy rains, it functions for flood control and diversion. Additionally, it aims to restore wetland ecology to enhance biodiversity and natural landscapes, thereby increasing ecotourism value. This integrated artificial wetland combines water quality purification, biological habitats, scenic vistas, and flood retention functions. The wetland is home to bird species such as the Great Egret, Intermediate Egret, Yellow Bittern, Black-bellied Plover, and Curlew Sandpiper.
