Right Bank Wetland Introduction
The Right Bank Wetland is located at the southern end of Dapeng Bay, on the eastern side of Linbian Dapai, with an area of approximately 8 hectares. It is planned as an artificial wetland system divided into two zones, designed to treat wastewater from drainage ditches such as the Datan New Branch Line, Datan New Highland, and Nanpu Wetland Datan New Distribution Line. On sunny days, it serves to purify water quality, while during heavy rainfall, it functions to intercept and hold floodwaters. Additionally, it aims to restore wetland ecology to enhance biodiversity and natural landscapes, increasing ecological tourism value. This comprehensive artificial wetland combines water purification, wildlife habitat, landscape, and flood retention functions. The wetland is home to bird species such as the Great Egret, Intermediate Egret, Cattle Egret, Pacific Golden Plover, and Curlew Sandpiper.
