Right Bank Wetland Introduction
The Right Bank Wetland is located at the southern end of Dapeng Bay, east of Linbian Dapai. Covering an area of approximately 8 hectares, it is designed as an artificial wetland system divided into two zones. It processes wastewater from drainage channels such as the Datan New Branch Line, Datan New Highland, and Nanpu Pond Datan New Sub-line, purifying water quality on sunny days while also providing flood detention during heavy rain. Additionally, it aims to restore wetland ecology to enhance biodiversity and natural scenery, increasing the value of ecotourism. This integrated artificial wetland combines water purification, wildlife habitat, landscape, and flood detention functions. Bird species present in the wetland include Great Egret, Intermediate Egret, Cattle Egret, Pacific Golden-Plover, and Bar-tailed Godwit.
