Binhwan Wharf Introduction

To bring tourists closer to the Dapeng Bay area, the Dapeng Bay Management Office has made good use of the lagoon's conditions by creating a 200-meter artificial beach at the sailing base, with fine sand sourced from the bay's mouth. Coupled with the unique natural environment of Dapeng Bay, which has wind but no waves, this spot is favored by domestic sailing enthusiasts. From April to June each year, Dapeng Bay hosts a series of sailing events, combining sports with tourism and actively promoting water activities in Taiwan, establishing itself as a representative sailing base in the country. Dapeng Bay is the best place to experience sailing, and an increasing number of tourists are becoming aware of the opportunity to try the sailboats here. To escape the intense heat by the sea, a sailing café has also been set up next to the beach, offering coffee, cold drinks, and light meals. Sitting in the café, enjoying the cool air conditioning while sipping a smoothie, feels like being in an oasis amidst a desert, providing stunning views of the beach and the expansive lagoon through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, along with a distant view of the lush Dawu Mountain, making it a perfect spot to relax over a cup of coffee and enjoy a leisurely afternoon escape. The water activities at Dapeng Bay are becoming increasingly diverse.
