Left Bank Wetland Introduction
The Left Bank Wetland is located at the southern end of Dapeng Bay, on the western side of Linbian River. It covers an area of approximately 8 hectares. This artificial wetland system primarily processes wastewater from Linbian River. The wastewater flows into the wetland through natural gravity and exits in the same manner, draining into the Qifeng Wetland. The simple process of the wetland treatment unit is illustrated in the diagram. Bird species observed in the wetland include the Crested Tern, Bean Goose, Black-faced Spoonbill, Great Reed Warbler, Siberian Blue Robin, and Yellow Wagtail.
