Yingxia Bridge Pavilion Introduction
The main cycling route system of Dapeng Bay turns into the Left Bank Wetland Park at 2k+500. To cross the Linbian drainage ditch, a bridge exclusively for bicycles and pedestrians has been constructed. Considering the hot climate of southern Taiwan, a pavilion-style translucent double-slope roof and V-shaped wooden slats have been designed on the bridge, which not only reduces disturbance to surrounding wildlife but also provides shade and shelter for birdwatching. The pavilion spans 35 meters and resembles a long corridor, earning the nickname "Bridge Pavilion" among visitors. The design of the bridge pavilion connects the movement of bicycles and pedestrians, serving as an important hub for ecological tourism in Dapeng Bay. It is constructed with steel and wood, and the bridge's design is inspired by the imagery of "The Bridges of Madison County," hoping to create a beautiful encounter between visitors and the ecological environment of Dapeng Bay. From a distance, the bridge pavilion resembles a wooden boat sailing between the blue sky and green forests. Visitors can briefly stop at the pavilion, enjoying moments of serene elegance and tranquility; experiencing the gentle breeze as light flows down from the pavilion's canopy, feeling the breath of nature, the pulse of the earth, and soaring with migratory birds on this ecological journey.
