Yingxia Bridge Pavilion Introduction
The main bicycle route system of Dapeng Bay connects to the Left Bank Wetland Park at 2K+500, and a dedicated bridge for bicycle and pedestrian access has been constructed to cross the Linbian Drain. Considering the hot climate of southern Taiwan, the bridge features a gazebo-style double sloped roof with translucent elements and a V-shaped wooden louvered walkway, which not only minimizes disturbance to local wildlife but also provides shaded areas for rain cover and birdwatching. The gazebo is 35 meters long, designed as a corridor-type pavilion spanning the bridge, and is referred to by visitors as "Bridge Pavilion." The design connects the paths for bicycles and pedestrians and serves as an important hub for ecological tourism in Dapeng Bay. The bridge structure is made of steel and wood, inspired by the imagery of "The Bridge of Madison County," hoping to offer visitors a beautiful encounter with the ecological environment of Dapeng Bay. From a distance, the Bridge Pavilion resembles a wooden boat sailing between the blue sky and green forest along the waterfront. Visitors can take a short break at the Bridge Pavilion, enjoying a moment of peaceful elegance and tranquility; they can feel the gentle breeze as light streams down from the roof, experiencing a journey of ecological harmony with nature, pulsating with the earth, and soaring with migrating birds.
