Banli Beach Introduction
The white sandy beach with shimmering light and a flat coastline is especially precious for Matsu, which is known for its rocky shores. Banli Beach is a southeast-facing bay, and every summer, it is affected by the monsoon winds along with sediment carried by ocean currents, creating a vast flat sandy beach over time that lies serenely between the blue sky and the azure sea. Surrounded by Qinshi Mountain, Banshan Mountain, and Lishan Mountain, Banli Beach is the most even and spacious quality beach in Matsu, connecting to Wusha Beach to form a continuous coastline, with wooden walkways linking them. Due to its sandy composition containing quartz, the entire beach sparkles with a subdued white glow under sunlight, making it a perfect spot to experience the beauty of changing light and clouds during sunrises and sunsets. The gentle waves lapping at the shore are ideal for playing in the water, and it has gradually become a favorite spot for residents and tourists to stroll and enjoy the ocean view. This stunning and dreamy beach is located behind the Beigan Tourist Center. If you visit the Tourist Center, consider taking some time to walk along the golden sandy shores, dip your feet in the refreshing seawater, and relax while admiring the ocean view. **Small yet Colorful Matsu Temple** Not far from Banli Beach towards Baisha Harbor, there is a tiny yet remarkable Matsu Temple, which can be considered the smallest and most miniature Matsu Temple in the world. The vibrant and colorful architecture often attracts the attention of passersby, standing in stark contrast to the local simple residences. In front of the temple, there are two adorable stone lions, and the eaves feature "Qianli Yan" (All-Seeing Eyes) and "Shunfeng Er" (Listening Ears). Though it is just a small temple by the seaside, it brings great surprise to visitors and serves as a visual highlight in the expansive beach landscape. When passing by, why not stop by to pray for peace and safety? Address: No. 94, Banli Village, Beigan Township, Lienchiang County
