Banri Beach Introduction
Shining with white light, the fine sandy beach of Banli is a precious treasure for Matsu, which is known for its rocky shores. Banli Beach is an inlet facing southeast, and every summer, it is hit by monsoon winds, combined with sediment brought by ocean currents, gradually forming a large flat beach over time, lying amidst the blue sky and azure sea. Surrounded by Qingshan, Banshan, and Lishan, Banli Beach is the most flat and expansive quality beach in Matsu, connected to Wusha Beach, creating a continuous coastline with a wooden walkway linking the two. Due to the sand's quartz content, the beach sparkles with a subdued white glow when the sunlight hits it. Whether watching the sunrise or sunset, Banli Beach allows visitors to experience the beauty of changing light and clouds. The gently undulating waves caress the shore, making it suitable for water play, and it has gradually become a great place for residents and tourists to stroll or enjoy the sea view. This beautiful and dreamy beach is located just behind the Beigan Visitor Center. If you visit the visitor center, be sure to take a stroll along the shimmering golden shoreline, feeling the refreshing sea water and enjoying the coastal scenery. Not far from Banli Beach towards Baisha Harbor is the Banli Matsu Temple, considered the smallest and most miniature Matsu temple in the world. Its vividly colored exterior often attracts the attention of passersby and contrasts sharply with the local simple houses. In front of the temple stand two cute stone lions, and the eaves feature the Eyes of the Thousand Miles and the Ears of the Winds. Although it is just a small seaside temple, it brings great surprises to visitors and serves as a visual highlight in the wide beach scenery. When passing by, take a moment to pray for peace and blessings! Address: No. 94, Banli Village, Beigan Township, Lienchiang County
