Upon entering the visitor center, you’ll find a dazzling array of travel brochures and information, providing various travel consultations, video screenings, and guided tours, allowing visitors to quickly gather sightseeing information about Beigan. It is the first choice for travelers in Beigan. In addition to the service counter, the first floor also has a souvenir shop and the only duty-free shop in Beigan. If you’re feeling tired, the second floor features a light meal café, perfect for visitors to relax, have a meal, and enjoy the sea view while preparing for the next part of their Matsu journey. Video screening times: 09:00-16:30, every half hour, lasting about 11 minutes. Experience the revival of an old building at the century-old Banli Mansion. If you want to experience the early life of Matsu people, make sure to visit the "Banli Mansion" directly across from the Beigan Visitor Center. Built using the traditional "miter joint" and "cross joint" techniques, the house has a neatly arranged stone wall exterior and original wooden construction interior, making it a mansion of its time! Now renovated while retaining the original outer wall, the structural beams have been replaced. The right side of the mansion is open for visitors, while the left side serves as a guesthouse. Walking along the historic wooden corridor, you might hear the familiar sound of the wooden floor creaking, offering an unmissable experience of Fujian Eastern architectural charm. Banli Mansion opening hours: 8:30-17:00.
