Luoshan Nature Trail Introduction
Luo Mountain Natural Trail, located between the mountains and the sea, is simply beautiful. The trail is approximately 700 meters long and was originally a path frequently used by residents of Hou'ao for oyster harvesting and by fishermen. It is carved along the cliffs with steep steps, taking about 40 minutes to walk round trip. There are two scenic viewpoints along the way, and at the end of the trail, you can gaze upon the statue of Confucius at sea. Due to the influence of seasonal winds, the vegetation along the trail is limited, but the rare and protected species of Guava (Eugenia hainanensis) can be seen everywhere. The unique "wind shear effect," caused by years of northeast monsoon winds, has resulted in elegantly shaped trees resembling bonsai, showcasing the rugged beauty of the landscape. Every year in April and May, wild lilies bloom beneath the trees and along the trail, creating a stunning display. A peculiar rock along the coast resembles the great Confucius, standing quietly at sea, listening to the waves and gazing at the ocean, adding to the charm of the area. Luo Mountain Natural Trail is a multifunctional trail for fitness, sightseeing, wave watching, and fishing. The beauty of the mountains and the sea is right before your eyes, making it worth experiencing and savoring. Note: This area is subject to strong winds and rugged terrain, so please pay extra attention to your safety.
