Luoshan Nature Trail Introduction
Located between the mountains and the sea, the Luoshan Natural Trail is approximately 700 meters long. It was originally a path frequently used by residents of Hou'ao for oyster gathering and fishermen. The trail, carved along the cliffs, features steep steps and takes about 40 minutes to traverse round trip. There are two observation decks along the way, and at the end, visitors can gaze upon the sea statue of Confucius. Due to the influence of seasonal winds, the vegetation along the trail is limited, but the rare and endangered Anisodontea (Bermesian Geranium) can be seen everywhere. The unique "wind-shear effect" created by years of northeast monsoon winds has resulted in trees that resemble elegant bonsai, showcasing rugged beauty. In April and May, wild lilies bloom abundantly under the trees and along the trail, creating a stunning sight. A peculiar rock along the coast resembles Confucius standing still on the sea, listening to the waves and observing the ocean, adding a sense of wonder to the area. The Luoshan Natural Trail is a multifunctional path for exercise, sightseeing, wave observation, and rock fishing, where the beauty of still mountains and surging seas is right before your eyes, making it worth experiencing and savoring. Note: This area is subject to strong winds and rugged terrain; please take care of your own safety.
