Harmony Cafe Introduction
Harmonious Food Shop was founded in the 65th year of the Republic of China. The proprietor, Mr. Wang Dunfa, apprenticed at Matsu's most renowned bakery, "Wan Feng You," which originated from Mawei, Fujian. He later became a pastry master. Inspired by the spirit of promoting traditional Matsu skills, he established Harmonious Food Shop in Tangqi, Beigan. Nearly forty years have passed since the establishment, and Harmonious Food Shop has diligently continued the Matsu traditional delicacies—Matsu pastry, chrysanthemums pastry, radish cake, golden sweet potato dumplings, and wedding cakes—beloved by locals. In recent years, in response to changing consumer habits and market trends, the shop has introduced exquisite Western pastry-making techniques, combining Western dessert characteristics with traditional cuisine. Utilizing modern equipment, it has expanded its business scope, further promoting the traditional delicacies of Matsu.
