Hsieh Ho Complex Cafe Introduction
Hsieh Ho Food Company was established in 1976 by Mr. Wang Dun-fa, who originally apprenticed at the most renowned pastry shop in Matsu, "Wan Feng You" (originating from Mawei, Fujian, China), and later became a pastry master. With a sense of mission to promote Matsu's traditional craftsmanship, he founded Hsieh Ho Food Company in Tangqi, Beigan. Nearly forty years since its inception, Hsieh Ho Food Company has consistently dedicated itself to continuing Matsu's traditional delicacies, such as Matsu cake, hibiscus cake, radish cake, golden sweet potato dumplings, and wedding pastries, which are beloved by locals. In recent years, in response to changing consumer habits and market trends, the company has introduced sophisticated Western pastry-making techniques, combining the characteristics of Western desserts with traditional delicacies, using modern equipment to expand its operations, further enhancing the prominence of Matsu's traditional cuisine.
