Harmonious Food Shop was established in the 65th year of the Republic of China. The owner, Mr. Wang Dunfa, apprenticed at the most famous pastry shop in Matsu, "Wan Fung You" (which originated from Mawei, Fujian, China), and later became a master pastry instructor. With a desire to promote and preserve the traditional skills of Matsu, he founded Harmonious Food Shop in Tangqi, Beigan. Having been in operation for nearly forty years, Harmonious Food Shop has consistently upheld Matsu's traditional delicacies, including Matsu pastry, Fu Rong pastry, radish cake, golden sweet potato dumplings, and wedding pastries, which are beloved by locals. In recent years, in response to changing consumer habits and market trends, the shop has introduced refined Western pastry-making techniques, integrating the features of Western desserts with traditional delicacies. By utilizing modern equipment, they have expanded their business scope, further promoting the traditional culinary culture of Matsu.
