Bird of Paradise Introduction
The story behind the opening of "Paradise Bird" is filled with parental love for their child. The owner mentioned, "The return to the teppanyaki business is because of my son, and opening this restaurant is also for my son." Due to the simple lifestyle in Matsu, over a decade ago, she brought her hearing-impaired son back to Matsu. To provide a stable place for her son who studied culinary arts, the owner rented this building to create a cozy café and restaurant for him. Here, they serve steaks and Western cuisine that differ from traditional fare, making it a popular venue for many local children’s birthday parties in Matsu. Meanwhile, the owner must also manage the breakfast business at the mountain top, and to avoid disappointing customers who travel a long distance, lunch is currently available by reservation only.
