Paradise Bird Introduction
The story behind the opening of "Bird of Paradise" is filled with parental love for their children. The owner stated, "We returned to teppanyaki because of our son, and we opened this restaurant also because of our son." Due to the simple lifestyle in Matsu, over a decade ago, the owner brought their hearing-impaired son back to Matsu to provide him a stable place while studying in the culinary field. The owner rented this building to create a cozy café and restaurant for their son. Here, they serve steaks and Western cuisine, which differ from traditional flavor meals, making it a popular spot for many Matsu children to hold birthday parties. The owner has to balance the breakfast business at the mountain lodge, and to avoid disappointment for guests traveling long distances, lunch is currently by reservation only.
