Bird of Paradise Introduction
The story behind the opening of "Paradise Bird" is filled with love from parents for their children. The owner stated, "Returning to teppanyaki was because of my son, and opening this restaurant was also for my son." Due to the simplicity of life in Matsu, over a decade ago, the owner brought her hearing-impaired son back to Matsu. To provide her son, who is studying in the culinary field, a place to settle down, she rented this building and created a cozy café-restaurant for him. Here, they serve steak and Western cuisine that differ from traditional flavors, making it a popular venue for birthday parties among many Matsu children. The owner also has to manage breakfast business at Shanlong, and to avoid disappointing long-distance guests, lunch is currently by reservation only.
