Bird of Paradise Introduction
The story behind the establishment of "Paradise Bird" is filled with a parent's love for their child. The owner mentioned, "Returning to teppanyaki was because of my son, and opening this restaurant was also for my son." Due to the simplicity of life in Matsu, over a decade ago, the owner brought her hearing-impaired son back to Matsu. To provide a stable place for her son, who is studying in the culinary field, she rented this building to create a cozy café and restaurant. Here, they serve steak and Western cuisine that differ from traditional flavors, making it a popular venue for birthday parties for many children in Matsu. However, the owner also manages a breakfast business in the mountainous area and to prevent guests who travel a long way from being disappointed, lunch is currently available by reservation only.
