Recreating the charm of a seaside fishing village, Ren’ai Village, another small settlement in Nangan, was formerly known as "Tieban." Surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the sea on one side, the beach reveals a large expanse of sandy concrete during low tide, which glistens under sunlight like a giant iron plate, hence the name. It was later renamed Ren’ai Village and used to be the site of a large vegetable market and the county government, thriving for a time. However, as the political and economic center shifted to Shanggong Village, Ren’ai Village returned to a quieter existence. The village is dotted with large traditional Fujian-style stone houses. In recent years, through the planning of the government and dedicated individuals, the appearance of the business district has been revitalized, featuring installation art, such as integrating old stone houses with military camouflage themes, displaying large historical photos outdoors, and restoring old-style archways. This reflects the residents' dedication to preserving and creating their village, revitalizing Ren’ai Village; with the villagers' careful maintenance, some complete buildings have been preserved. Wandering through Ren’ai Village, the beautiful scenery formed by the intertwining of modern architecture and old houses is readily visible. Although the fishing village scene is no longer seen, the years have carved a natural beauty that remains tranquil. Matsu Story Museum, Tieban Life Museum - Relive the simplicity and read old stories. Near the entrance of Ren’ai Village, within the Matsu Daily Newspaper office, there is the "Matsu Story Museum." The first floor focuses on the history of Matsu's newspaper industry, while the second floor showcases the period of wartime Matsu.

Not far away, there is also the "Teiban Living Museum," converted from an old house, showcasing local cultural artifacts that seem to take visitors into a time tunnel, experiencing various aspects of life in wartime Matsu. "Chong Di," pronounced as "ti," can also refer to "oyster pancakes," a traditional snack from Fuzhou. Hidden in Ren'ai Market, "A-Po Chong Di Shi Bing" resembles "oyster cakes" and is made with high-quality ingredients, using a batter made from rice and soybeans, filled with eggs, cabbage, shredded meat, and rice noodles, and deep-fried to a golden crisp. The layered texture is irresistible! The "Red Yeast Chicken Skewers" in the shop are also highly recommended! It has since been renovated by villagers into an ecological park that combines wartime character with abundant greenery. On the mountain, a 360-degree camouflage viewing platform offers a panoramic view of the North Sea Cave and the village landscape of Ren'ai.
