The Buddha's Rock at the Northern Border of the Country Luohanping is located at the northwest corner of Xiyin Island, near the rocky reefs flowing northward from the entrance. The local residents refer to this area as "Luohanping Ben." The term "ping ben" indicates that the site features flat rocks, sea erosion grooves, and sea eroded pillars. From the sea, one can admire the towering sea-eroded pillars that resemble the arrangement of "Eighteen Arhats," which is why the residents named it "Luohan Pillars." Visitors to this site are encouraged to use their imagination to find the traces of the Eighteen Arhats! Note: Luohanping is a military stronghold with troops stationed nearby. Visitors are reminded to avoid capturing military facilities in their photographs.

The term "Ping Ben" refers to the combination of flat rocky terrain, sea erosion grooves, and sea erosion columns. When looking out at the rock formations from the sea, you can admire the standing sea erosion columns that appear to be arranged like "Eighteen Arhats," which is why the residents call them "Luohan Columns," leading to the name "Luohan Ping." Visitors here are encouraged to use their imagination and search for traces of the Eighteen Arhats! Note: Luohan Ping is a military site with stationed troops nearby, so please avoid including military facilities in your photos.
