Holland Water Introduction
According to legend, after Koxinga repelled the Dutch, two Dutch soldiers fled to this area, preparing to escape to the East Coast. However, Koxinga's soldiers were in pursuit, and as they passed through this place, they were extremely fatigued. They took some spring water from the mountains here, and their energy was suddenly restored, allowing them to continue their escape to the east and evade their pursuers. Later, this place was named "Dutch Water." The location is at today's Guanyin Waterfall, which is about a 20-minute drive from Xinmei Village, followed by over an hour of hiking on mountain trails.
