Viewing Sea Pavilion Introduction
The Guanhai Tower is located next to the Yancheng Inspection Station, situated at the center of Qigu Lagoon. This three-story observation platform provides the local area with panoramic views, particularly of the beautiful scenery of the Taichung Inner Sea and Qigu Lagoon. Due to the excellent water quality in the lagoon, local fishermen engage in oyster farming, fixed nets, and clam cultivation, while the unique oyster beds on the sea surface add to the area's renowned sunset views. Enjoying the stunning scenery of Qigu Lagoon at dawn and dusk from the top level of Guanhai Tower offers an unobstructed view of Qigu Lagoon and the Wanjialiao Sandbar, among other sites. As the sun sets, the interplay of light and shadow between the horizon and the sea, combined with the Z-shaped oyster beds and fixed fishing nets, creates a unique landscape that even casual visitors can easily capture in picturesque photographs. Additionally, this location is ideal for photographing seascapes, and in winter, there's a chance to see cormorants and other bird species, making Guanhai Tower a fantastic spot for birdwatchers and photographers.
