Qigu / Longmen Inn Restaurant (Selected to participate in the 2010 Taiwan Food Expo as a featured restaurant) Introduction
Longmen Inn offers a comfortable and clean dining environment with a variety of famous seafood dishes in the Si-Ku area. The restaurant serves exquisite yet affordable meals, featuring large portions of milkfish and fresh oyster dishes, ensuring a satisfying experience. Behind the restaurant, there is a small lake where guests can enjoy the scenery while dining. Longmen Inn utilizes fresh local seafood to showcase many representative local dishes, with each dish being a delicious specialty. The "Salt-Baked Milkfish," "Salt-Baked Shrimp," and "Salt-Baked Crab" use coarse sea salt to wrap the seafood, locking in the fresh and sweet flavors. Once the salt crust is removed, the juicy and sweet taste of the seafood is revealed, allowing guests to savor the ingredients' original freshness and aroma. The "Crispy Fish Dorsal Fin" selects the fatty dorsal fin of the milkfish, which is marinated and sun-dried to absorb natural sunlight, then deep-fried to maintain a slightly chewy texture, offering a delightful sweet flavor in every bite. As this dish takes considerable time to prepare, it is recommended to make a phone reservation a day in advance. The "Crispy Burdock Strips" are directly deep-fried from fresh burdock strips and sprinkled with black sesame, providing a crispy texture and a hint of sweetness from the burdock in every bite.
